Clean Skin From Lemon

Oily skin got you feeling sour? Sunkist® lemons can help!
Ingredients
  • 1 teaspoon powdered milk
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed Sunkist lemon juice
Directions
In a small bowl, combine the powdered milk and water to make a soft paste. Apply the mixture to your face and massage for a few minutes. This will help to nourish the skin without drying it out. Next, take the freshly squeezed lemon juice and apply it to your skin with a tissue or cotton ball. This acts as a toner, ridding the skin of non-essential oils. Lastly, apply a light moisturizer, preferably oil-free.

Better Freshness from Citrus Splash

Now you can smell as good as you look!

Ingredients
  • 2 cups water, distilled
  • 3 tablespoons vodka
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped zest of a Sunkist® lemon
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped zest of a Sunkist orange
  • 5 drops lemon essential oil
  • 10 drops mandarin essential oil
  • 12 drops orange essential oil
Directions
Mix the finely chopped lemon and orange zests with the vodka and place in an airtight container for one week. This allows the vodka to absorb the aroma of the zests. Strain the orange and lemon enhanced mixture and add the essential oils to the liquid. Shake the contents once a day for two and a half weeks making sure not to open the jar. Store in a dark place or an opaque bottle. Once the mixture is ready, you can dab it on and smell citrus fresh!

How to Apply False Eyelashes

Apply False Eyelashes Step 1

Apply False Eyelashes Step 1

Natural-looking false eyelashes start with a customized set of lashes. Trim your fake lashes to a more natural length that fits the shape of your eyes.

Apply False Eyelashes Step 2

Apply False Eyelashes Step 2Hold the lashes securely between your fingers or with tweezers and apply lash glue to bottom strip of the lashes. Wait 30 seconds until you put them on. This will allow the glue to dry a little and create a sticky adhesive.

Apply False Eyelashes Step 3

Apply False Eyelashes Step 3

Apply the lashes by sticking them as close to lash line as possible. If your hands are shaky, a pair of tweezers will help with this step, too.

Apply False Eyelashes Step 4

Once the lashes are in place, use bottom of eyeshadow brush to press adhesive onto eyelid. Place the lashes on the outer edges of your eye for a retro, cat-eye look. Place them toward the center of the eye for a feminine, doll-like look. Fight the urge to blink hard because that might move the lashes out of place.

Apply False Eyelashes Step 5

Repeat step 4 with the other eye. Applying false lashes takes practice. Once you get the hang of it, it's a great way to add drama to your going-out look.

Put the steps you just learned into action.
